Hi, I’m Joni—the heart behind The Creative Table.

I’ve been a graphic designer for over 25 years, but my love for art and crafts started long before that. Creating has always been my way of slowing down, expressing myself, and connecting with others. Whether it’s paint, paper, or mixed media, I’ve always believed there’s something a little magical about making things with your hands.

I’m married to my wonderful husband, Keith, and we have a daughter who’s currently attending Purdue University (which still feels a little surreal). Family, connection, and meaningful time together matter deeply to me—and that’s exactly what inspired this business.

My purpose is simple: to bring people together to create. To sit around a table, make art, have great conversations, laugh, and take a break from the fast-paced world we’re all constantly moving through.

I truly believe art isn’t about making something perfect. It’s about the process—slowing down, trying something new, enjoying the company of people you like, and just having fun. No pressure. No expectations. Just creativity, connection, and a little joy.
